The Weaker Vessel

Women are the “weaker vessel”- God

1 Peter 3:7

Feminists hate this truth and deny it.
It doesn’t mean women are not as important or valuable as men, but different.

God made men with 10 times the amount of testosterone than women! 💪 Men are generally built stronger and created to be leaders.
They were made to be protectors and providers of women and children.

Of course, we don’t live in a perfect world, but this is still God’s will for men.

Women are generally led by their feelings and are emotional and sensitive.
We are created with more of a nurturing spirit, which is why women are the ones God created to bear and nurse children.
We are called to build and create in our own homes. (Titus 2)

Wives, appreciate your husband’s strength, his masculinity, his desire to rule, and conquer the world.
And if He is lacking in these things, encourage him in them. Perhaps you’re not allowing him to lead and you have a contentious spirit instead of a submissive spirit.
(We ALL struggle and fail at times!!)

God created women to be man’s helpmeet.
We are not their mother, we are not their conscience. They don’t need us scolding and treating them like a child.

He is your husband, lover, and friend.

This is God’s beautiful design.

Before I met my husband I was in a verbally and sometimes physically abusive relationship, which still affects how I see men today. It’s still a challenge for me to be submissive to my husband.
Our sin nature is to rule over our husbands, especially in husbands who are more laid back and passive.

Even though many men are the opposite of what God wants them to be, loving their wives as Christ loves the Church, we can’t abandon these verses for older women to teach the younger women to love their husbands, children, and to be keepers at home so God’s word is not slandered.

“For the man is not of the woman, but the woman is of the man. Neither was the man created for woman; but the woman for the man.”
1 Corinthians 11:8-9
